I came across this great post this morning on Stephen Walther's blog. He talks about some tips and tricks that you may not know about in Visual Studio. I've been using a few of these, but there are some here I am glad to know about.

I have been playing with the express versions of Visual Studio to build my knowledge for a while and I am starting to undertake the conversion to the professional version. Before I do this I would like to extend my knowledge of using the package before I spend real money. My previous experience is as a web coder with mysql, php, most linux based tools and a little flash with actionscript, now I am adopting a Microsoft package. I am realising it is a real learning curve and am trying to build my awareness with some online blog reading. The title " Essential Visual Studio Tips and Tricks " in your post got me grabbed my attention. I find the Visual Studio tutorial websites are frequently strict and mention the identical points resembling an online manual. Dialog in blogs frequently cover actual ways to beat issues which leads me through the learning curve more rapidly. Thank you for the note.
